# Assets

SuperUSD is backed by a carefully selected list of assets that together provide the attractive yield to holders on every chain. Each asset is pre-approved and whitelisted by the team, with new assets requiring an extensive due diligence process.

At launch, there are 3 types of assets supported:

Criteria for assets include:

* Audited Contracts
* Protocol TVL greater than $25M
* Highly liquid secondary market or easily redeemable
* SuperUSD doesn't contribute to more than 20% of a protocol's TVL
* No individual asset or protocol exceeds 50% of SuperUSD's holdings
* Additional Internal Due Diligence
